Duloch Juniors Big Lottery award
12/03/2013
Dunfermline-based Duloch Juniors Football Club has received £1,345 to encourage children to participate in training sessions and league matches. The Big Lottery Fund award will purchase goals, cones and football strips.
MSP for Dunfermline, Bill Walker, said: “Congratulations to Chairman David MacNamara and Duloch Juniors.
“It’s great to see young people taking part in sport, and I wish the club success with their league match ambitions.”
The project meets the Big Lottery Fund’s 2014 Communities outcome “More people take part in sport of physical activity”. 2014 Communities is a micro-grants programme offering local sports clubs, voluntary and community organisations, community councils and schools grants of £300 to £2,000 to support and stimulate grass roots involvement in sport and physical activity.
