Awards for All Scotland

I would encourage community groups seeking funding to consider applying to Awards for All Scotland. This body awards grants of between £500 and £10,000 for art, sport, heritage and community activities and for projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.
Recently, several local groups have received funding from Awards for All Scotland, which is supported by Creative Scotland, sportscotland and the Big Lottery Fund.
West Fife Multi-Cultural Group, which provides social and recreational activities for local people, received £9,550. They will use this to deliver a course in creative arts.
The Abbeyview Project was awarded £10,000 for an information and recreation centre to support employment, access to IT and a range of educational and recreational activities.
Plus, the Coalfields Regeneration Trust recently gave £10,000 to High Valleyfield Club to upgrade their premises.
These are great opportunities for non-profit projects to receive funding, and there is nothing to lose in applying.
