Central Dunfermline Community Council Awards for All grant

Big Lottery FundCentral Dunfermline Community Council have received a £6,800 Awards for All grant from the Big Lottery Fund for their proposal to carry out a public consultation exercise to improve Dunfermline Public Park.

The money will fund the workshops and other provisions necessary to draft and finalise their plan of action.  Furthermore, they hope to achieve the creation of a climate change proof management plan.

MSP for Dunfermline, Bill Walker, said: “I wish to congratulate Central Dunfermline Community Council on receiving this considerable ‘Awards for All’ grant.

“The Public Park is an important green space in Dunfermline, therefore it is important we preserve it for the benefit of everyone in the area and for visitors.”

The project meets the Awards for All outcomes of “Communities are safer, stronger and more able to work together to tackle inequalities” and “People have better and more sustainable services and environments”.
